Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptaizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.

Mathew 28: 19,20

In the early 1970s, Sobulon Limma, after completing his theological education, came with his wife, Bijilimathi, and two sons, Samarpanam and Anargalam, to work in His mission in the western part of Orissa state in India. The Christian presence and witness in many villages and towns were invisible. He planted "Church In Talpatratikira" to minister among multicultural, multi-religious, and multi-linguistic communities. His ordination and commitment expanded the ministry among people in Orissa and Andhra Pradesh in the district of Srikakulam. On July 7, 1977, the mission services for leprosy patients began. On March 26, 1982, and February 21, 1985, the state and federal governments officially recognized the church as a legal entity. The mission services covered children, youth, and women from all sections of society. To strengthen them, leadership training for pastors from local churches commenced. On June 25, 1992, he was called home by the Lord.

The state of Orissa (Odisha) has a population of 45.43 million. It comprises 30 districts and 314 blocks. The need to present the transforming power of the Gospel of love, hope, peace and salvation in Christ is essential. I shouldered the mission duties to carry forward under His call. I had theological studies and a diploma in leadership and social development, which have been of immense help in the services. I was ordained, married, and blessed with three daughters. My younger brother Anargalam, with mission studies and ministerial experience, joins me to heed His call to mission. We conduct prayer meetings, Sunday worship services, pastors' and family fellowships, personal and prison evangelism, hospital visitations, aged care, ministry among leprosy affected, etc.

Prayer is the best place to start. We count on your earnest prayers and extend this invitation to partner through mission trips. Consider this an opportunity to take the Gospel to those who have not heard. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. We are anticipating your visit. Thank you so much.
